Scholarship Information

 

Click on the attachments below for the Monthly Scholarship Bulletin. Please read through the bulletin and gather your information. Apply for as many scholarships as you can and attend the college events that you are interested in. The more information you gather the better your college application process will be. There are so many schools available to you! Make the most of your time now!

 

Different Scholarships 

COLLEGES- Students are encouraged to apply early to the college of their choice and become aware of the scholarship opportunities available at those institutions.

PRIVATE- Many organizations award college scholarships for different reasons.  Most will make them available through our CAP office throughout the year.  Some others are available through internet sites or search engines found below.

FLORIDA BRIGHT FUTURES- The State of Florida offers monetary incentives for students wishing to further their academics.  Moreover, they require recipients to graduate from a Florida high school and attend a Florida post-secondary education.

 OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIPS- Students who practice for the SAT for 12 hours using the Official SAT Practice on Khan Academy®  and improve their score by 100+ points - either form their PSAT/NMSQT®  to SAT or SAT to SAT- will earn a chance at a $2,000 scholarship. For more information click here.

Students are encouraged to visit the CAP Resource Center located in the counselors office, where we have a scholarship bulletin board and a computer available for applications.
